Recommended starting point: a high-resolution source around 2400 × 3600 px or higher and more than 1.5 MB. Art2Canvas also calculates effective DPI for the exact crop, zoom and physical size you choose.
What Art2Canvas accepts
JPEG, PNG and WebP up to 30 MB per image. Keep the original file where possible; screenshots and images downloaded from social media are often smaller or more compressed.
Canvas build and hanging
The canvas is designed around a wood stretcher frame about 2–3 cm deep with hanging hardware. Hardware details can vary with the selected size and panel arrangement.
What the previews tell you
The 2D editor shows the exact crop and panel continuity. The 3D room uses the selected physical width and height to compare wall scale. Lighting and screen colour remain illustrative; print and monitor output cannot be identical.

Frame and hanging
This product family uses wood stretcher frames around 2–3 cm deep with hanging hardware. Exact hardware can vary with the selected size and panel arrangement.
Image quality
For large split canvases, start with the original high-resolution file where possible. Around 3000 × 4800 pixels is a strong starting point for larger 5-piece formats; Art2Canvas then estimates effective DPI for your exact crop and size.
Wall span
Finished wall width depends on the selected canvas width plus the spacing you leave between panels. The configurator shows the physical panel scale in the room preview.
Continuous image
On split-panel products, one composition is divided across the panel geometry. The visual gaps represent wall spacing; the source image is not repeated on every panel.
Screen versus print
Screens emit light; printed canvas reflects it. Expect some difference in brightness and colour appearance. Use a good-quality source and avoid judging from an over-bright phone display alone.
Image rights
Upload only images you own or have permission to reproduce. Personal photographs, original artwork and licensed digital images are suitable starting points.
